A valuable exchange for families in Bochum

Dear Families and Friends,

On March 22, 2026, we were guests of the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) regional group of Rett Deutschland e.V. – Parents’ Support for Children with Rett Syndrome – in Bochum. Our Chairman, Timm Fries, and Petra Wolfsgruber, a mother with experience in dolphin therapy, presented our therapy concept and animal-assisted work with dolphins.

We received a very warm welcome and were able to discuss our decades of experience, the scientifically proven effects of dolphin-assisted intensive therapy, and the practical aspects of organizing a therapy trip in a relaxed, family-like atmosphere.

The great interest shown by the parents present was particularly moving – the Q&A session afterward once again demonstrated the importance that topics such as travel planning, nutrition, and therapy requirements play for families.

A heartfelt thank you to the NRW regional group and to Rett Deutschland e.V. for the invitation and the trust placed in us! Such direct encounters are very important to us, as they enable genuine exchange, guidance, and reassurance in the decision-making process.

We look forward to continuing to support families personally and individually – from the initial information phase to the complete organization of intensive therapy at the Curacao Dolphin Therapy & Research Center or at Island Dolphin Care in Florida.
