History and encouraging stories in Angermund

30 Years. Inspiring Courage. Giving Hope. Creating Opportunities.

The local newspaper Nordbote has recently published an article highlighting the history and work of delfine therapieren menschen e. V. – from its beginnings at the historic Alte Angermunder Post to its current mission of supporting families from across Germany and beyond.

Since our foundation in 1996, we have helped more than 4,500 children and adults take part in dolphin-assisted intensive therapy programs. Our focus goes far beyond the therapy itself. We are equally committed to providing comprehensive support for families, maintaining the highest quality standards, and ensuring the respectful and responsible treatment of the animals involved.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the editorial team of Nordbote for this thoughtful and appreciative feature about our work and the people we are privileged to support every day. Together, we help provide hope, new perspectives, and meaningful moments that can make a lasting difference.

You can find the link to the article here.

We hope you enjoy reading it.

With kind regards,
Your Team at

P.S. The Nordbote article about the history of the Angermunder Post is also well worth reading. Our office is located in the former post office premises at Angermunder Straße 9 since 2002.
